What's My Name - Rihanna featuring Drake


I wasn't really feeling this song at first but I've been singing it all weekend and I'm in love. The video is amazing! Drake and Rihanna have such a strong chemistry on screen. It's great. Drake's verse is my favorite for sure. "Say my name, say my name, wear it out!" ;) Soo stuck in my head. Rihanna looks gorgeous and unique as always. Love it.

Rihanna's latest CD "Rated R" came out probably almost a year ago and it honestly took me months before I realized how good this song was. I'm the type of person to get a CD, listen to the songs I know, then just pass through the rest and if I don't like the music in the beginning I'll skip it. But one day I somehow decided to listen to this song "Fire Bomb" all the way through. I loved it. It's different but good. So listen to it above if you haven't already!

Who's That Chick?

Over the weekend Rihanna released the video for her song Who's That Chick:



How dope does she look in this video though? The concept reminds me of Rude Boy and I looove it! Her make-up looks gorgeous in it too. Hadn't even heard the song until I saw the video but I like it.

Love me, Love me

Rihanna's video for "Rude Boy" is SO DOPE. I love love love the colors and concept of the video. It's so creative && I haven't seen a video like this in awhile. Props to Ri-Ri for that. She looks gorgeous of course. I like how she incorporates animals and animal print into the video too. Very cool. Check it out below --

Rihanna: Women Of The Year

Glamour magazine interviewed Rihanna and entitled the article "Rihanna: Back On Top" in the Women of the Year issue.

Here's a small part of the interview:

Glamour: If you could offer a message to the millions of young women who look up to you, what would you tell someone who found herself in a similar situation?

Rihanna: Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.

Glamour: I think that’s a great message. What about your new album? What’s it like?

Rihanna: I was involved in a lot of the writing. I put everything I’ve wanted to say for the past eight months into my music. The songs are really personal. It’s rock ‘n’ roll, but it’s really hip-hop: If Lil’ Wayne and Kings of Leon like my album, then I’ll feel good. I would not change anything about it. Even if people don’t love it, I made exactly the piece of art that I wanted to make. It’s super fearless—which is exactly how I feel right now. I am in a really good place.

She seems like she's moving forward and regaining control of her life. She also talks about hoping to find love in the next 10 years. Which means she, unlike Chris, is not hanging on and dwelling on their relationship. Atleast not publicly anyways. Good interview. Worth Reading.

This is gonna be the 2nd single from Rihanna's upcoming album "Rated R" coming out on November 23 it's called "Wait Your Turn (The Wait is Ova)" Check it out;



I really kinda sweat this song, not gonna lie. Definately feeling it more than Russian Roulette, which I do like but for some reason I like this one more. Let's see how the world will try to "analyze" this single!

Russian Roulette Eh Eh

Rihanna just recently released her first single since the Chris Brown incident. Some are saying it's too violent and brings a bad message to fans. Others say she's kind of "acting out" because of what went on between her and Chris. But it's important to remember that Rihanna did not write the song herself. Ne-yo wrote it. Ne-yo. Not Rihanna. So unless they wanna say Ne-yo is "acting out because of Chris Brown" they should probably think before they speak. I personally like the song. I love Rihanna's voice. She's an amazing artist and not afraid to take risks. But I will say I'm not really feeling her new blonde hair-do. But hey whatever makes her happy!

Some are worried that some fans may take the song too literal and serious and [perhaps] commit suicide, or atleast attempt. Yeah maybe there's a small percentage that would take it there but there are plenty of other songs where artist's say things that talks about harming someone but that doesn't mean that people are gonna listen and go kill someone. Just because you listen to Lil Wayne doesn't mean you're gonna go out and buy a bottle of cough syrup and drink it. So yeah people need to relax!

Chris Brown vs Rihanna: who's gonna win this fight?

So it's official Rihanna has joined twitter! Her first tweet says:

Which means that her album is coming out then finally! My question is since Chris Brown's album Graffiti is probably coming out soon who's album do you think will be more successful? Will it be Chris Brown because of all the girls that just love him reguardless of anything he's done? Or will it be Rihanna because she hasn't done any interviews or spoken out about the incident. I think Rihanna's will be more successful because people are gonna want to see if she addresses the issue between her and Chris. I personally lost so much respect for Chris Brown, because what he did was so wrong and I think it is so twisted that some of his girl fan's don't care about what he did and say that Rihanna "deserved it" if some guy hit you, would you feel the same way then? Chris is an amazing artist and performer, I'll give him that but I have a feeling he will have lost some of his fans and audience from this. Now if he has a good song, sure I'll download it but I'm for sure not buying that whole album. Rihanna on the other hand I probably will. There's always two sides to every story, and maybe I'm biased because I'm a female but domestic violence is never, ever okay. Violence in general isn't okay. Hopefully Rihanna speaks out through her music so that young girls will see that it is not okay for a man to ever hit you! Period. Point blank. The End.

I really don't get why everybodys making such a big deal about Rihanna's new tattoo. So she got guns tattooed on her? What's the big deal? What cause she was just in the news for the whole her and Chris Brown thing? Like leave the girl alone I'm sure other celebrities have tattoo's that are more violent than that. I think it looks cute:

Oh and I'm so sick of all these Chris Brown groupies saying that "she deserved it" and "she probably started it" like I know we don't know exactly what went on in the car with her and him but I think it's pretty ridiculous that they're saying she deserved it. Would you want to get beaten up by your boyfriend and have your life threatened?! I don't think so! Just because you sweat Chris Brown doesn't mean you should say what he did was right because "she started it/deserved it" It's just not right, a man should never hit a woman so they really need to stop with all that stuff.
